After months of nominating and voting and waiting for the trophies to be made, the members of the Patrick Henry Democratic Club of America announced the winners of their 2006 annual awards on December 19. The winners are as follows:

Elected Leader of the Year: Andrés Manuel López Obrador
News Service of the Year: Citizens For Legitimate Government

Voting Rights Leaders of the Year: Alex Hull-Richter, Natasha Hull-Richter

Last week, the Patrick Henry Democratic Club of America endorsed Dennis Kucinich for President of the United States.

The members of the PHDC of America stretch from coast to coast. It is considered the most liberal Democratic Club in America.
