a Urinary Tract Infection is a life threatening condition -- threatening to sanity at the very least.
Untreated, what are the complications? I would bet a bladder infection could get to be life threatening - causing hospitalization even. So why not treat the freaking UTI when it is reasonably inexpensive to treat?
How DO 36 other modern nations manage to provide health care for all citizens, have 'immigrant issues' and still not collapse?
IMO - we do not have an 'illegal immigrant problem' - we have a 'corporations hiring illegal immigrant problem.' If the corporations were forced to follow the law the immigrants would go away and you would not have to worry about paying for their health care. I'd still rather pay for their health care than their later hospitalization - and no I am not going to refuse to hospitalize a dying person because they can't pay for it.
