11. I read the whole thing and Brown isn't a good writer.
However, he knows how to get people turning the pages so I knew right away it would make a good movie plot and was not surprised that Hollywood snapped it up. More money for everyone. However, the plot isn't classy. It's more Mission Impossible than Sherlock Holmes. I can see why the Cannes crowd didn't take to it. However, it will probably make lots of money as a matinee popcorn flick. Let's hope the Xtian censors lighten up and just let flotsam be flotsam.
