What I'm saying is that not many could have and still retain any legitimacy. Colbert has none simply because he's a comedian and doesn't have to have any. Yes, he told the truth tonight and that's wonderful for so many of us, but if David Gregory had gotten up there and did the same...would he have any credibility for skewering the WH and bush?

If anyone was going to do this, I'm glad it was Colbert, and not someone who is supposed to be credible in today's corporate media.
