Reply #70: New MSNBC general manager plans to cancel some talk shows

The new general manager for MSNBC plans to add more taped reports during prime time and cancel some of it's talk shows, according to a story set for Monday's New York Times.

Keith Olbermann's show "Countdown," which has become very popular with many liberal bloggers and Chris Matthews' "Hardball" won't be affected, since they are considered "long-sought breakthroughs" by the cable network's management, and the coming moves are partly aimed at "capitaliz on their success."
