2. As a Latin student for four years...
Edited on Wed Apr-06-05 06:19 PM by deadparrot
I can say that my knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary has improved dramatically because of my studies. It also began my love affair with Roman history. I've begun to study French and ancient Greek, and I'm taking Italian at college next year, and they are vastly easier because of Latin.

The miles and miles of translation can, admittedly, get a little old, but it's fascinated how interconnected Latin and English are. I know my writing has improved.
