And as I promised in the earlier thread on this, I did think of you while I was there. So, as I told Cheese, in a sense you were a participant too.

My report was sort of stream of consciousness and not even spellchecked ("seemlessly"?) but if you want to send it to someone, you are welcome to do so.

In case you know someone who is curious enough to want to try initiating a metta meditation, here's a simple version I was given by a friend who is a psychotherapist who both uses it herself and recommends it to some of her depressed or anxious patients:
May I be filled with loving-kindness.
May I be well.
May I be peaceful and at ease.
May I be happy.
(15-20 min twice daily, visualizing being held in a heart of loving-kindness. Later expand to other people...)

Maybe some of the fundies can learn to look away from hate and fear; they and we would be far happier for it.
