9. Kos and Armstrong are on Tim Russert now ... and making my blood boil

They (meaning Kos ...Armstrong only spoke a couple of times) said a couple things I agreed with ... I was actually starting to feel encouraged.

They pretty much said that Kerry ran on the right issues and the right message but it was the Democratic Party's infrastructure that failed him. (not quite that directly of course). I personally think Kerry campaign made a couple mistakes, as all campaigns do, but I mostly blame the Democratic Party, both not for building an infrastructure and not for doing their part to support the Kerry Edwards campaign. So I was happy he said this too. Kos did critique the democrats tendency to over complicate messages, but that was fine .... a constructive criticism.

However then they started going off about the DC bubble stuff...all these DC bubble democrats are ruining the party. They are totally out of touch. They are doing everything for sunday morning shows (this of course made Tim chuckle). Only Russ Feingold, Mark Warner and Harry Reid are liked by bloggers because they are not DC insiders (huh???the majority leader).

Basically, Kos has decided that his bloggers represent the entire Democratic Party. He doesn't buy that there is a progressive wing and a DLC wing to the party, he thinks we are completely a unified party and most of the DC democrats are ignoring most of non-DC democrats. While, I would like to think that we are a unified party, I just don't want to be a unified DailyKos party. For that matter I don't want to be a unified DU party either.

Blood is a boiling....
