That's why I said I'll refrain from mentioning the gargantuan and endless similarities between what's going on at Kos and what's going on here at DU.

So many posters here have made the point "that here on DU, CALLING someone racist is worse than actually BEING racist." Raineyb made that point so many times. Apparently, black folks are saying the same thing on DKos.

And don't get me started on how the history and actions of MLK are completely distorted here. Apparently, he wasn't really a black rights activist. And it was his work on "labor" and "union" issues that got him killed, not his work trying to improve the lives of black people. I almost can't see straight when I see that shit. And apparently, the folks on Kos are seeing the same bullshit. I know that's why that brother put that MLK video after his article.

SistahSpeak touches on that here when she says:

"Don't get me started about a certain FP who regularly comes into diaries written by black people lecturing them on how they should phrase their posts and dismissing the notion that Dr. King's primary thrust was about racism."

Where does this shit come from?
