14. YUM Brands
owner of KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, Pizza Hut and A&W American Foods. http://www.yum.com/

Worldwide, the KFC subsidiary accepts the extreme and cruelly treated chickens as food from suppliers. YUM! Brands lied about the action they were taking, posted it on the KFC website and had to be sued to change the lies. They have made promises to stop their suppliers from mistreating the chickens, but the very suppliers that were snitched off have been filmed since the promises to stop mistreating and torturing the chickens as a group and individually.

The Taco Bell Franchise accepts tomatoes from growers who maltreat and abuse and enslave migrant workers. A migrant worker toiling for the Taco Bell suppliers can spend 6-7 days a week 10-12 hours a day picking 2 tons of tomatoes a day (125 32lb buckets). They are paid about $50 a day. No benefits. Can be beaten. Imprisoned. Taco Bell claims they are not responsible for this.
