2. It'd be cool if Capcom didn't beat the concept into the ground
But then again that's their MO. They'll come up with a really kick ass game, sometimes even inventing a genre in the process, and then beat it into the ground until no one cares about it anymore. Street Fighter 2, I'm looking at you.

I would love to see a Soul Calibur-style game with Square characters. I think Ergheiz was a fabulous idea on paper but they just dropped the ball on that one in the execution. Square vs. Capcom done SC style would be so frelling awesome. Chaos!Vincent vs. DevilTrigger!Dante = sweet. Oh hell, we'd have to do Square vs. Capcom vs. Konami just so we can get the various Belmonts (and Tepes) involved. Alucard vs. Sephiroth...battle of the platinum-haired bishounen! My head would explode from all the pretty, but I'd die a very happy fangirl.

Square vs. Enix would be funny if done in a really goofy Smash Bros. style. Of course we'd need to have a slime as a playable character. And make really obscure references to stuff like Actraiser. :D
