which is likely related to the Maine Coon, but without the addition of "American forest cat" blood (lynx and bobcat). Norwegian Forest cats generally have smaller muzzles and long hair all over their bodies-while Maine Coons have large, squarish muzzles, "lynx tips" on the ears, and the very long hair is confined to the ruff, belly, tail, and "britches".

You might also look up Siberian forest cats, though I think Siberians may be slightly less hairy than your guy
