5. Well, I'd get him off that diet.
It must be dry if you're leaving it out all day? He might have a tummy ache from all the junk they put in the food. Switch to a high-quality canned (like Wellness) and see if that improves him.

We have 2 Abyssinians who had IBD and one of them was pooping and peeing on the rug until we changed them to a raw food diet. The pooping stopped and then the girl was peeing on the sofa until we changed the kitty litter to unscented clumping (we had been using pellets). Now they're all happy. Phew!
