141. I've never supported Wakefield's single jab notion, but I'm glad you admit that he never suggested
any child go without "protection."

Here are the results of the study I noted above.

RESULTS: Seventy five of 91 patients with a histologically confirmed diagnosis of ileal lymphonodular hyperplasia and enterocolitis were positive for measles virus in their intestinal tissue compared with five of 70 control patients. Measles virus was identified within the follicular dendritic cells and some lymphocytes in foci of reactive follicular hyperplasia. The copy number of measles virus ranged from one to 300,00 copies/ng total RNA.

I didn't say that the notion of a single jab made sense to me, personally. Quite the contrary. I suggested "a (potential) link between a persistent measles virus and IBD in children with developmental disorders" might indirectly support his overall theory.

If you'd like to start a thread examining autism and vaccination, I'll be glad to join you. I was under the impression that you disliked the movement of goal posts? Yet you're desperate to move them in this discussion. Again, all I can do is speculate as to which studies he may have referred to. I don't know. I suppose I could scour the age of autism blog?
