There's no reason to deny gay people the right to be free from workplace, housing or insurance discrimination. That includes the military.

There is no reason to for the law to refuse to recognize gay marriages.

There is no reason to think a kid is better off in an orphanage or a temporary foster home than he or she would be in a stable gay household.

On the other hand, there are compelling reasons to allow these rights.

Legal persecution of homosexuals in other countries is not a cultural difference, it is a crime against humanity.

I'm glad the USA is finally on board on that last point.

BTW, you didn't need to invite me since I am already there.
