Don't you know that first we have to end war while defeating Islamofascism, bringing lasting peace to the middle east region and all of its peoples, but death to all the angry ones, no matter the cost, while repairing our credit sufficiently to enable us to afford universal health care, and then complete our transition from biomass based carbon emitting fuels over to clean burning nuclear fusion power, allowing us to banish the internal combustion engine and begin to sequester greenhouse gasses on a net basis, thus restoring the global environment to its originally Edenic pre-Lapsarian pristine condition controlled at a constant 72° F before we can begin expending the political capital required to consider whether a... a...homosexual... is a human person with a subset of rights such as those enjoyed by corporations and naturally reproducing human males and females?

It's just that there's a few important things that have to get done first. Priorities, man!

One day, rest assured, equal rights for your kind will come. Differences of custom and law will have evened out and so the newly acknowledged "gay" rights will, I'm sure, be observed and celebrated by humankind on all the inhabited planets and orbital colonies. That is, it will come if geneticists and obstetrics haven't figured out a way to identify and eliminate all "gay-probable" births first.
