Look it up. Those of you who don't know the history of WHY the AL has a Designated Hitter rule should be proud.

Viva Los Owners! They changed the rules of the game to benefit NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES.

Can you think of any other situation in life where the owners get to make the rules? Gee, I can't. Or can I? Let me see.... Oh yeah. In every fucking situation I can think of, now that I think of it, THE OWNERS MAKE THE RULES.

They fucked up a perfectly good game for their own benefit, and DU'ers cheer it. No surprise here.
