18. Summerly vs. In the Gold in Ashado
From DRF:
Summerly, one of the top 3-year-old fillies in the country until her career was put on hold last summer by a splint bone injury, will launch her comeback against a strong field that includes old rival In The Gold in Wednesday's $70,000 Ashado Stakes. A 1 1/8-mile overnight test, the Ashado is named in honor of the two-time Eclipse Award-winning filly who won two Grade 1 races at Saratoga.

Summerly and In The Gold finished first and second in the 2005 Kentucky Oaks. Summerly, a daughter of Summer Squall, subsequently finished third in the Grade 1 Mother Goose and second in the Grade 1 Coaching Club America Oaks for trainer Steve Asmussen before being sidelined while training here for the Alabama.

Summerly, currently under the care of Scott Blasi, was entered but scratched from the Grade 1 Go For Wand on Saturday.

"The filly's doing wonderful," said Blasi. "Her breezes have been beautiful. She looks to be coming back into form."

I'd really like to see this race.
