I've been maybe 7 or 8 times since '96 and last summer was easily the hottest and most humid. First time I ever considered a golf cart if not mandatory, since I was really struggling to walk 18 holes in that sweatbox weather.

Great place to be for a racing fan. Racing museum across the street. Knowledgeable and friendly fans everywhere. Four or five giveaways, with the items immediately showing up on Ebay due to the "spinners." Even a little harness track that runs a few nights a week, not too far from the main track. Hell, the whole town gears up for the meet.

My goal was to win hat day this year but this means I have another year to strategize and perfect. :)
