Thom Hartmann on election rigging, today

had some interesting things to say, concerning all of our presidential elections, for the last 60 or so years. The last Republican to have won fair and square (no two ways about it), according to him, was Eisenhauer. He ran as the peace candidate.

He played a recording from 1968 in which the Senate Majority leader, Dirksen, admitted to Pres. Johnson, that Nixon was "a traitor."

"This is treason," LBJ says to Dirksen.

"I know," Dirksen replies, very softly.

Confronting Nixon by telephone on Nov. 3, Johnson outlines what had been alleged and how important it was to the conduct of the war for Nixon’s people not to meddle.

...I didn't catch all of it, and couldn't find much on the TH website, but I'll be looking for more, maybe something on the blog page.
