You really touched off a firestorm - kudos to you.

I actually didn't know Brad had something on this, and I'm not aware of RAW coverage. Now I see my last post kind of reads like I thought they both did. What I really meant was that these sites are clearly establishing themselves as the go-to places for real breaking stories but that we have to aim higher.

Olbermann? Alterman? Media Matters? Rolling Stone? Who else? This is the brainstorm I'm proposing. Who has the name of just the right person to liaison with at any of these (or other) media outlets we might target? For that matter, what can Bob Koehler do?

We have, and are ourselves making, a ready-made story. We on this board are collectively practicing advocacy journalism. By my definition, we are good or bad at this depending only on whether a tangible goal/change is achieved. Right now I think it would be an achievement if we got the Don Wycliff story covered by other media. By making him the star of the story, election fraud, voter confidence, and the Consent of the Governed all slip into the mainstream consciousness.
