I know a number of Republicans for Kerry in southern Ohio. Here in Butler county all local politics are Republican politics and as a result some people are registered Republican just to be taken seriously politically. Many of these people not only voted for Kerry, but actively campaigned for him as well. I also know people who have never voted for a Democrat in their lives who voted for Kerry this time. I think Arnebeck is absolutely correct to be looking at southern (especially south-western) Ohio for vote switching. Just from my totally unofficial polling, Kerry should have done much better than Gore in Butler county.
