I only lived in DC a short while. I remember the bluegrass show & some of the other programming on WAMU. I thought a lot of the programming was good.

And you are saying that the Redskins owner bought WETA - not clear from your post. Or some commercial station that played classical?

DC is kind of a bizarre music scene. I remember traveling thru DC one time and someone had the radio on to an easy listening station and they were advertising weapons systems during the commercial breaks. Kind of what they mean by "inside the beltway" - Republican style.

Yuck. I hope people speak out.
