14. Don't let anyone tell you there were "a few hundred" of us!
My husband and I drove in from Dallas for the noon rally. Then we caravaned from the rally in Tonkawa Falls Park--a distance of only a few miles--and the trip took at least 45 minutes! You do the math--it was a tremendous show of support for Cindy, not just a "few hundred" as some are reporting in the press.

My husband dropped me off at the camp while he tried to find a place to park (we were warned about the off-limits "triangle"); he drove about a mile down the road and never did find a space, so he picked me up and we went back to the peace house.

We didn't get to meet Cindy, but it was great to be out there with all the veterans groups. I talked to a woman who showed me a picture of her son, currently stationed in Iraq--he sent her an email giving her enthusiastic support for the anti-war rally & told her to pass the word along to all the protesters to "kick Bush's butt!"

We're doing just that! Cindy deserves a Nobel Peace Prize http://crawfordpeace.nfshost.com/node/134 for reviving the anti-war effort!
