6. It was not my intent to lessen the importance of health care reform.
Isn't the greed of the Health Care Insurance Companies the most important aspect of needed reform? How in the hell does forcing people to buy more of their lousy policies really reform this corrupt industry?

One of the major arguments about the attempt to reform the industry is that we can't afford it at this time because of the miserable condition the Bush administration left us in. If we had a balanced budget and even a surplus that Clinton provided and which was ripped off by the Republicans, real reform would seems to me to be more probable.

The proposed legislation does some import things in regulating the insurers, but this has nothing to do with real comprehensive reform.

Thanks for your input and I understand and respect your opinion.
