their words come across.

It is called self-awareness mixed with empathy.

Simply put, you ain't goin through shit compared to folks whose rights are being stripped away; who fear for their lives; who are being dumped on and ignored.

When you have to look over your shoulder if you inadvertently express an endearment to a loved one then you can come back and complain.

The fact that Warren was picked, that Robinson was shut out of public display, and that Obama and his administration have the largest of all tin ears when it comes to the GLBT community is something that any compassionate person can see is wrong.

If you disagree on the Warren issue-- it simply means that you do not even begin to realize the suffering.
