people at www.change.gov; I emailed the Democratic members of the Inauguration Committee (the Pub members are dead to me; I keep my complaints inside the family) and I made a new contributed to the Human Rights campaign last week, even though I promised myself I would not make any contributions to anything political in December.

Now, may I please have your approval to post, even if I cannot make it to Brokeback Church?

P.S. I am in Massachusetts, where I wrote many a legislator and newspaper and marched on the State House several times until I could proudly say that gays in Massachusetts can marry, despite all the neo theos they brought here from other states.

And I am not gay. Or if I am, my former husband of 18 years, my son and I have all been in very deep denial about it.
