and at first glance, the first thing she noticed was the lack of trauma to the face. If this was a recent attack, there would be much more substantial bruising and surly more trauma, either cuts or swelling with varying degrees of eyelid closure and possibly increased amount of tears with redness. This picture shows nothing to that extent.

She also said judging by the irritated skin, that for the "B" to be "carved" into her with a knife as she claims showed that the attacker in question must have been very gentle to her as there are no open lesions or major inflammation around the "cuts." For someone robbing you, that behavior seems to be very suspect.

The only trauma she can see is the swelling of the right cheek. She was cautious to point out that there could possibly be other things that might have caused the reactions in her face but such severe blows to the head would most certainly require medical assistance.
