Reply #152: My Grandma, and Barack's Grandma.

My Grandma, who lived in Hawaii for decades, passed away after moving to Iowa. She was a hardcore democrat with a young attitude and a great sense of humor. She loved Bill Clinton, and thought it was great fun when the canvassers and others descended upon Iowa during the elections and would assume that because she was "a little old lady" that she'd be a Democrat. She had fun setting them straight. I think she would have loved Obama, and probably thought he was pretty cute. So my vote is for her.. because I would have loved for her to witness this.

And to Barack's Grandma, who is ill right now, over in Hawaii. I can only imagine how very proud she is of Barack, and how much it would mean to the Obamas to have her see him sworn in as President.
