the screen clears away all the others when you make the selection. Makes it painfully obvious to even those with no familiarity whatsoever with CRT screens, check boxes, anything more technical than their front door key, what selection they have made. I actually like it. With the paper verification it is probably pretty tough to spoof. I mean, obviously they could jigger the numbers so the initial reports were off, and unless there was a recount nobody'd ever know.
