He made me believe that he is actually principled, like I used to think he was, if only for a few minutes.

BUT. He is still letting his running mate and surrogates lie and sling mud and whip up racist fear. Until he actively calls that off, I'm reserving judgement. (And I think it goes without saying that I don't want him to be president of, say, my Condo board, let alone of the country.)
