81. OK, so here's the thing...
In no way can I say that I understand what you have been through. I won't even try.

However, I have to think that it isn't good to be this angry about a common turn of phrase. 'akin to rape' is used for a variety of situations which involved some form of violation. And technically, one of the definitions of rape is: an act of plunder, violent seizure, or abuse; despoliation; violation: 'the rape of the countryside'.

Please don't think that I do not feel for you. But I also feel for the person who innocently used a common turn of phrase and accidentally stepped on your pain. I am not sure that what was written deserved the response it got.
