If you and your friends fall into this category, yes, I was talking about you. If you don't, there's no reason for you to be so angry since my post had nothing to do with you.

Perhaps instead of accusing me of being a racist for pointing out something that should be obvious, you may want to try to better understand why an honest discussion about the very real issues of race causes you such offense and discomfort.

And if you think that criticizing people who refuse to vote for a black candidate is racist, you don't understand what racism is.

Unfortunately, all too often, some people have a visceral reaction to hearing someone who looks like them called racist - and they immediately lash out at the person who made the observation, accusing THEM of racism. Observing the existence of racism is NOT racist, any more than your observation of the existence of sexism makes you sexist.
