research projects have been shut down at UI until further notice unless they involve critical research where life and death are involved, such as cancer studies. These shutdowns are to reduce the drain on resources until works space for whole departments can be arranged and damage to facilities can be assessed. My husband's whole department is being moved out of the new building they were moved into a couple of months ago and into a rented building out in the Procter & Gamble area somewhere. The entire lower portion of their facility is under water now. They have been told to expect to be out there for some months.
