50. Inspections are cheaper
in lives and dollars, and they were working. They were working too well for Bush's timetable, though. He had to make them more intrusive, in order to provoke an incident that they could point to, and say, "See! They're obstructing the inspectors!"

Isn't it ironic that we had to ignore international law in order to enforce a U.N. resolution?
