also said in another post that it's standard fare to reschedule finals, weeks later in postponement no less. It is not. I've never experienced that in all my years in the academy, not even heard of it happening.

As it stands the facts don't hold up, and the OP has been generalized and evasive enough to leave room for doubt. pure hearsay until he hear otherwise.

If someone really cares to get corroboration call the school tomorrow and ask if any professors gave finals yesterday. this late is absolutely unheard of though, in all my experience---note as i said above in post 81, the grade were due a little less than 2 weeks ago-------finals are never administered after the grades are due. never...... the one time i submitted my grades late the department secretary was contacting me at 9:00 in the morning sharp to say get on it. Students' graduations, scholarships, grants, transfers, etc. hinge on these deadlines, and they are never so casually stretched this late.
