10. The media has totally dropped the ball on covering Halliburton/Iran news

in their frenzy over the Berger story (and the Arnold 'girlie men' remark) even though the Halliburton subpoena story is potentially more explosive since it involves Cheney setting up a sham Cayman Islands 'unit' that did not physically exist in order to circumvent the federal prohibition against U.S. companies dealing with Iran. Sen. Frank Lautenberg claimed that the Cayman Islands unit was a phony setup and pushed for an investigation 5 or 6 months ago but the media has yet to explore this story.

I would not be surprised if the Berger story was timed to dominate all the media attention so that the Halliburton subpoena story would slip by unnoticed. The RW responses seem orchestrated with all their talking points well prepared on the Berger story. I don't think the WH wants any focus on Cheney's Iran dealings.
