30. It IS racist to accuse someone of "not being of the white working class"

as if that is a detriment.

Buchanan's exact quote was "Barack's problem that is that he's not of the white white working class. He doesn't understand them the way he asks us to understand Rev. Wright and the crowd -I mean the the folks in South Chicago at that church."

I'm very reticent to call people and comments racist. THAT is racist.

1. It's a flat out lie. Barack Obama DOES come from the white working class.

2. Buchanan implies that Obama IS of "the crowd in South Chicago at that church" which he isn't.

3. He also implies that "the crowd in South Chicago at that church" are NOT working class.

4. Perhaps worst of all, he and Joe both continue to make very clear that because Obama is not white, he is somehow deficient. That his not being "of" the white working class is a PROBLEM to be overcome, not just a fact of birth. No one can help onto which ethnic group they are born. but these people continue to insist that being white is the norm and everyone else must somehow find a way to "transcend" their non-white status in order to be acceptable.

I have not heard either of these people EVER imply much less come out and say that any white politician was in any way "disconnected" because they are not "of" the black community, or demand that THEY "transcend" their whiteness in order to be acceptable.

This man is an outright downright racist and it is long past time for people to DEMAND that MSNBC take him off the air!
