The fear apparent in his facial expression is PRICELESS.

he's an old-line racist from way back. But he's also ascended to punditry Olympus on MSNBC, and is a guilty pleasure to watch; he's so over the top you could invent a drinking game based on his mannerisms.

We could probably partly thank Buchanan for his scary keynote speech at the republican Convention in '92 for putting Bill Clinton over the top.

"Many people did not care for Pat Buchanan's speech; it probably sounded better in the original German," Ivins in September 1992, commenting on the one-time presidential hopefuls speech to the Republican National Convention.
