From the CBS blog

During her remarks before the AFL-CIO convention of labor unions, Hillary Clinton made the argument that she is most prepared to be president because she has learned by watching and observing, much like a labor apprentice. “I’ve apprenticed, and I’ve learned how to do it, I’ve watched it being done for 8 years,” she said.

Does tha mean she held the reigns of power with Bill looking over her shoulder? Or was she looking over Bill's and everybody else shoulder like Nancy Reagan?

So Ms. Clinton are you suggesting that as First Lady, you were actually apprenticing for the Presidency?

She says yes...it opens her up to serious questions of access and control during her last stay in the WH and if her plan all along was to run for president. Was she in the Sit Room? Was she in the room when Peres and Arafat were talking? How often were you meeting with Rubin or Reno or Reich?

She says no and she opens herself up again to accusations of exaggerating her access and influence.
