244. It's that sexism has been long tolerated even in liberal politics, how it's hurting us, the election
what it will cost us, our cause and the Democratic party if it continues. It is about how this election has exposed the sexism in liberal politics, and our moment of truth. It is about how we will respond, if we will again choose to be a champion of all people, retain our credibility, or face a painful, costly failure. It is about the need for people to speak up and say it won't, can't be acceptable anywhere, most certainly in truly liberal politics. It is about the need for individual and group introspection, soul searching, and honesty to come to deeper understanding, humility, and resolution to change.

It is not really about Hillary Clinton or her candidacy, it is about she's been treated, how all women are treated and hurt by sexism.

It is about how all people are hurt by it, even Senator Obama. His supporters have not helped him by indulging in it.

The events of the day spurred my comments.

and, yes, it is sexist to call a woman a monster in the context it was done, and in similar, various ways that I outlined in my post.
