Pardy says the leak of Canadian diplomatic intelligence about the views of the Democratic candidates on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) all but certainly came from Ottawa's political circles, not the diplomatic corps.

That assertion was reinforced last night with a report that the first story on the subject surfaced after offhand comments made by Ian Brodie, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's chief of staff. The Canadian Press reports that Brodie made the comments last week to journalists covering the federal budget.

I am hoping the next Canadian election will kick him out. Harper is a Bush boy.

Now it's in the Toronto Star and Globe and Mail that the NAFTA memo is embellished by a embassy staff but how did the memo get leaked. The opposition parties want the RCMP to investigate not the the Harper government.
