11. Bush campaign did this in 2004with heavily vetted small crowds. Difference for him is that
the RNC machine had spent years gaining control over the election process at every level where the votes are allowed, cast and counted, so he really had no concerns about image or winning - they could steal 5 million, they could steal 10 million, and the corporate media wouldn't flinch - and the DNC under McAuliffe didn't CARE.
