Poll question: Who is more liberal?

I wonder how many of the people whining about Kerry voted for Gore. Quite ironic considering Gore used to be a southern conservative Democrat opposed to abortion and gay rights. While his record improved, he was still rather conservative as a senator and I believe the more conservative of Tenneesee's two Democratic senators. He was one of the few Democrats to vote to authorize the first Gulf War, and while he may have spoken out against the Patriot Act now, I doubt he would've voted against it had he still been a senator in the post-9/11 month.

might I also add Kerry's wife isn't a hardcore censorship lover with connections to the PMRC.

I actually find it even more hilarious when someone said if the right wingnuts were right and Hillary was Kerry's VP voting for him would be easier, even though Hillary also voted for the Patriot Act, IWR, No Child Left Behind and everything people bash Kerry for, and there's not a single issue Hillary is to the left of Kerry on. I suspect some people like to prop up heroes while nitpicking to bash Kerry.
