against the other, as the Bill Moyers' guest pointed out last night. For instance, Hillary has said that she'd be ready to be president from "day one," implying that Obama wouldn't be. That's a bad meme to use if you're picking a vice president, who WOULD have to be ready from day one if anything happened to the pres. Obama has used his own set of insults against Hillary. His supporters here, even in this thread, have bought into them.

If both of them are on the ticket, the Republicans will have a double-dose of our own anti-whoever talking points to use against the whole ticket. I'm not sure it would be a good idea, even though on the surface it looks like a good way to unite the party.
