30. You know, I never thought about it before
but I suspect that on some level, I've "resigned myself" to expecting voting machine monkey business. And that's just HELPING the bastids! Day-um. No more, sez I! Instead, OOGA BOOGA SMOOGA WOOGA ad infinitum--free and fair elections for all and poof! pull back the curtain.

Another thought: We whinge about modern technology being so hackable that it could be our downfall, but ballot stuffing has gone on for decades, if not centuries. Perhaps these newfangled Internets tubes are actually beneficial, because now word travels mighty fast when there's any hanky panky. Perhaps we should be looking on the bright side of this?
