What do these have in common?

They do not exist.

Why? Because the MSM has a special place in its dark heart to rip Democrats not matter how pristine they seemingly are.

They savaged Clinton.

They savaged Gore.

They savaged Kerry.

That is what they do.

Clinton says she is vetted. But that does not matter. Earlier this year the RW floated a story that she was having a lesbian affair with her aide.

Obama? You can be damn sure his drug use will be brought up. John McCain did so earlier this year.

Edwards? We've seen a taste of how they want to take him down as a populist with stories on his big house and expensive haircuts.

The others? I am unsure of though I can imagine it will be unpleasant to say the least.

No one is scandal proof.

So that is why at the end of the day, when this nomination is settled we need to band together to fight every piece of mud the GOP even thinks about spreading about the nominee.

We cannot assume that people will see thru it. We need to demonstrate it. We need to catalog and deconstruct it.

Then we need to hit back with some mud of our own.

This isn't about kumbaya or let's stop fighting.

This is merely a reminder that at the end of the day we are on the same side and THEY are the enemy.

And THEY will present a much tougher foe then what we currently face in each other.
