Nice thoughts but unless I miss my guess, a lot of dean supporters will get behind the nominee with full support once chosen.

The point of withholding his donor list is meaningless since contributions will be forthcoming from ex-supporters that decide getting bush out is more important than just who does it, those that won't support willingly, wouldn't support if contacted from the list anyways.

dean said he would support the nominee, withholding vital information that could help beat bush would not look as if he was honest in his statement, and would only help divide the party even more.
