2. Initially, I questioned the relevancy of the investigation
since it was back in the 1980s, but still, I was curious on how serious the alleged drug charges were.

If you want to dig stuff up on DeWine from that era, go back to his days as a member of the U.S. House, on the committee holding the hearings on Iran Contra. What I remember most from DeWine was the camera focusing on him and he was dozing off, not cognizant of the hearings.
