Case in point: When George Allen's problems with "macaca" and racism emerged in Virginia, local observers felt this would STRENGTHEN Allen's appeal with as many as 15% of Virginia voters. Nice, eh? I figure we'll get five,.... and with six, you get Cheney's tie-breaking vote.
